​Elite and recreational racers from around the globe will gather in downtown Madison, Wisconsin, USA on February 3-8, 2025 to test their racing skills.

Male and female World Champions will be crowned in course racing, marathon, speed, short track slalom, and
freestyle.

The person wearing this bib will be awarded up to $1,250

Open to any design of foil or leading-edge inflatable sail kite ranging from 6-23 square meter, tethered by lines. Skis and snowboards are used. Course racing and Freestyle.

Powered by windsurfing rigs, and open to any sled design. Course racing and Short Track Slalom [STS]

Open to any kind of rigid or inflatable sail, held by the hands of the rider. Skis, snowboard and blades are used depending upon the surface conditions. Course racing , Short Track Slalom [STS].

Community Festival

The World Ice and Snow Sailing Championships is part of the Clean Lakes Alliance Frozen Assets Festival. The largest outdoor winter gathering in the region bringing thousands of visitors to lake Mendota to enjoy festival activates and cheer on competitors.
